Best Time to Visit Kyone Htaw Waterfall in HpaAn, Myanmar

The Kyone Htaw Waterfall, located near HpaAn in Myanmar, is a picturesque natural attraction in the Kayin State. The ideal time to visit this scenic spot is during the dry season, which runs from November to February. During these months, the weather is relatively cool and dry, providing comfortable conditions for travel and sightseeing. The rainfall is minimal, which not only makes access to the waterfall easier but also ensures that the roads leading to it are safer. Moreover, the water flow in the waterfall during this period is moderate, making it safer for swimming and allowing for a more relaxing experience amidst the natural surroundings.

The dry season also coincides with Myanmar's peak tourist season. If you prefer to avoid the crowds and enjoy the serene beauty of the Kyone Htaw Waterfall, consider visiting at the beginning or end of the dry season, ideally in late November or early February. However, if you opt to visit during the wet season, from June to October, you should be prepared for heavy rains that can cause the waterfall to swell and make access paths treacherous. Additionally, some facilities might be closed or difficult to reach during the monsoon period.
