Leifeng Pagoda, a renowned five-story tower with an eight-sided structure, is situated on Sunset Hill south of the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Originally constructed in the year 975 during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, it was connected to many local legends, most famously the 'Madame White Snake' story which has been a core of Chinese opera and literature. The tower collapsed in 1924 but was rebuilt in 2002. The new pagoda has retained its traditional exterior design while featuring a modern interior with an elevator, making it accessible to tourists. Inside, visitors can view historical relics unearthed from the original pagoda, including ancient scriptures and tablets. At the top, there's a viewing platform offering panoramic views of West Lake and Hangzhou city. It is a popular destination for both its historical significance and its scenic location.

Stunning views.
The pagoda itself has been restored so from the inside with its lift did not look authentic, although when at the top and seeing the views I 100% recommend.
