Linh Phuoc Pagoda (Vegetable Pagoda) Tourism

Linh Phuoc Pagoda, also known as Vegetal Pagoda, is located at the end of Trai Mat street, approximately 8 kilometers from the center of Dalat City in Vietnam. As one of the most famous landmarks in Dalat, Linh Phuoc stands out for its unique architecture composed of broken glass, pottery shards, and china. It was built from 1949 to 1952 by the Mahayana Buddhists of the Vietnamese community. The pagoda is known for its impressive dragon-encraptured facade, which is crafted from fragments of glass and ceramic, and its 49-meter-long dragon sculpture made from beer bottles. Visitors can explore the seven floors of the tower and appreciate the many mosaics illustrating the lives of the Buddha. Also, Linh Phuoc Pagoda houses a giant bell, which can be rung for good luck. The pagoda’s serene atmosphere and colorful, intricate mosaics offer a glimpse into Vietnamese religious culture and art. Vegetation borders the pagoda, adding to the feeling of tranquility and peace at this site.
