Introduction to Miral Complex

Located in the heart of Ahmadi, Kuwait, the Miral Complex has emerged as a compelling destination for locals and tourists alike. Ahmadi itself is known for its greenery and beautifully planned architecture, making it unique in the predominantly desert nation. The Miral Complex complements this charm by offering a blend of entertainment, dining, and shopping experiences.

History of Tourism in Miral Complex

Miral Complex is relatively new compared to the long history of tourism in Kuwait. Tourism in Kuwait has evolved notably over the last few decades, from the discovery of oil to the modern-day where the industry is branching out to include retail, cultural, and recreational attractions.

Before the oil boom, the area that is now Ahmadi was scarcely populated and known for its harsh landscape. With the discovery of oil, the city of Ahmadi was founded in 1946 and named after Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the tenth ruler of Kuwait. It was developed to house the employees of Kuwait Oil Company and thus designed with an attention to aesthetics and comfort that was unusual for the region at the time.

The Miral Complex itself was established to enhance the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the city and provide a place for relaxation and leisure that caters to both the expatriates and the local population.
