The British Airways i360 in Brighton, United Kingdom, is a modern architectural wonder and tourist attraction situated on the city's seafront near West Pier. Opened on August 4, 2016, this towering structure stands 162 meters high and is the world's first vertical cable car and the tallest moving observation tower. The i360 was designed by Marks Barfield Architects, who are also the creators of the London Eye. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Sussex coastline, the English Channel, and on clear days, glimpses of the Isle of Wight. The viewing pod, which can hold up to 200 people, ascends to 138 meters, offering a unique perspective of Brighton and Hove. The pod is fully enclosed and climate-controlled, with a sleek design that provides 360-degree vistas. The attraction includes a restaurant at the base, the 'Belle Vue' restaurant, serving local cuisine and providing an additional scenic backdrop for visitors. The i360 also hosts various events, from yoga sessions to evening drinks, making the most of the stunning location.
