The origins of Ufa Victory Park trace back to the post-war era when there was a nationwide initiative across the Soviet Union to commemorate the victory over Nazi Germany. Officially opened in 1965 on the 20th anniversary of the victory in World War II, the park was designed to serve as a memorial area where citizens could pay their respects to the fallen.
