Wulong Karst National Geology Park, located in the Wulong District of Chongqing Municipality in China, is renowned for its dramatic karst landscapes. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and exemplifies a range of karst formations such as gorges, natural bridges, caves, eroded dolines, shafts and underground streams. The park is divided into three major areas: the Three Natural Bridges, the Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, and Furong Cave. These natural wonders showcase the immense and sculpted grey limestone towers and arches that are characteristic of the area. The Three Natural Bridges, named Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong, are massive limestone bridges towering above the valleys and rivers below. Furong Cave is an extensive cave system known for its size, variety of formations, and the underground waterfalls. The site has gained popularity with both geologists and tourists for its stunning natural beauty and the insights it provides into the processes of karst formation. Wulong Karst's landscapes have also been featured in international films, including 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'. It's a place where visitors can witness the majestic power of natural forces and the serene beauty of towering peaks and hidden grottoes.
