The museum is a short walk from York Railway Station. Once you arrive at the station, head southeast on Station Rd/Station Rise toward Queen St. Continue to follow Station Rd. Turn left onto Rougier St, right onto George Hudson St, left onto Bridge St. Continue onto Ouse Bridge. Turn right onto Coppergate, then turn left onto Castlegate. The museum will be on your right.
