Day 1: Delhi - Shimla

Day 2: SHIMLA LOCAL - KUFRI
• After Breakfast ,today proceed for sightseeing of SHIMLA, visit • JAKHOO TEMPLE (Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman It is situated on Jakhoo Hill, Shimla's highest peak, 2.5 km (1.6 mi) east of the Ridge at a height of 2,455 m (8,054 ft) above sea level) • THE MALL & THE RIDGE • The Christ Church (Christ Church, Shimla, is the second oldest church in North India, after St John's Church in Meerut. It is a parish in the Diocese of Amritsar in the Church of North India. Its current incumbent is The Rev. Sohan Lal, whose ecclesiastical designation is presbyter-in-charge. Worship is conducted in Hindi and English) • State Library • Khadi Bhandar • Scandal Point (Scandal point is where the Mall road joins Ridge road on the west side. The name arose from the commotion caused by the supposed elopement of a British lady with an Indian Maharaja. The story goes that the Maharaja of Patiala had eloped with the daughter of the British Viceroy. This had led to the Maharaja being banished from entering Shimla by the British authorities. He countered the move by setting himself a new summer capital – now famous hill resort of Chail, 45 km from Shimla.The most prominent feature of the point today is a statue of the Indian freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai (no relation to the scandal). Next to Scandal Point is the General Post Office, Shimla.) • Gaety Theater (Gaiety Theater, located on the Mall, was opened on 30 May 1887. Many popular film personalities have performed on its stage. Today, the Gaiety is primarily known for its social club. Schools in Shimla use this theater for performing arts. The theater has been renovated with the original structure untouched to keep its heritage preserved while making it more attractive) • Johnny’s Wax museum (Modest attraction featuring life-sized wax figures of local & international icons.) • Viceregal Lodge (The Rashtrapati Niwas, also known as Viceregal Lodge, is located on the Observatory Hills of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India. It houses some of the most ancient articles and photographs going back to the times of the British rule in India. ) • Kali Bari Temple (The temple was built in 1845. It is dedicated to the goddess Kali. It is believed that in an ancient temple of Shimla, the goddess Kali existed, near Jakhoo. In the temple a wooden image is worshiped locally) • Transfer To Kufri • Sightseeing at o Himalayan Zoo(Kufri Wildlife zoo is located in a small hill station, Kufri, 13km from the state capital of Shimla. The zoo is home to rare Antelopes, different species of felines, deer, bear, snow leopard and birds including Himalayan Monal, which is the state bird of Himachal Pradesh, patient kites and pheasants) o Kufri Fun world (Kufri Wildlife zoo is located in a small hill station, Kufri, 13km from the state capital of Shimla. The zoo is home to rare Antelopes, different species of felines, deer, bear, snow leopard and birds including Himalayan Monal, which is the state bird of Himachal Pradesh, patient kites and pheasants) o Kufri town(Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22. The name Kufri is derived from the word kufri meaning "lake" in the local language)
Day 3: Shimla - Manali
• After Breakfast ,today checkout from hotel and leave for Manali • On the way sight-seeing o Sundernagar lake (Sunder Nagar is city and municipal council in Mandi district. Formerly it was a princely state, known as Suket. Sunder Nagar is located in Mandi district. The waters of Beas and Sutlej river given it a man-made lake. The Sunder Nager is mixture of Himachalis and Punjabis people. There are lot of scenic beauties to see like sunset across the lake.) o Pandoh dam (The Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam on the Beas River in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Under the Beas Project, the dam was completed in 1977 and its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation. Part of a run-of-the-river power scheme, it diverts the waters of the Beas to the southwest through a 38 km (24 mi) long system of tunnels and channels. ) o Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu (Located on the distance of 2 km from Kullu valley, Vaishno devi temple is also famous tourist attraction of Kullu) • Overnight stay at hotel in Manali
Day 4: Manali Local - Solang Valley
• After Breakfast ,today proceed towards o HADIMBA TEMPLE (Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungiri Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in ManÄli, a hill station in the State of HimÄchal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic MahÄbhÄrata) o CLUB HOUSE( The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.) o Tibetan Monastery o Van Vihar (Van Vihar National Park is one of the most frequented attractions in Manali. Located favorably on the Mall Road, this park is populated with many deodar trees that provide shade to the whole area. For the convenience of visitors, the park is provided with concrete as well as wooden benches. It is an ideal place for enjoying picnics and spending moments of repose with your loved ones. Its well-laid paths are perfect for a long and refreshing stroll amid lush greenery. In addition to these, visitors can indulge in boat rides in the park's small pond.) o VASHISHT (Vashisht is a small village located around 3 km from Manali across the River Beas. This beautiful village is famous for its sulphurous hot water springs and Vashisht temple, built just next to the springs. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy. There are separate baths for both men and women, fitted with showers) • o Solang valley.(Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.) • Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 5: Manali - Dharamshala
• After breakfast leave for Dharamshala. • On the way view of snow covered Dhauladhar range and amazing view of hills. breakfast Visit o Mcloedganj(McLeod Ganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known as "Little Lhasa") o Buddhist Temples o Dharamkot (On the crest of a hill above McLeodGanj, Dharamkot is a spot with wide views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar ranges. There are a couple of small eateries around) o HPCA cricket stadium (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium is a picturesque cricket stadium located in the city of Dharamshala District Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, India.) o St. John in the Wilderness Church (This neo-gothic church was built in 1852 and is one of the most important churches in Himachal Pradesh. Located near Dharamshala and on the way to Mcleodganj , this church was built in dedication to John the Baptist.) o War Memorial (War Memorial is situated in the pine forests near Dharamshala town and the journey itself to this place is totally worth it. There is the beautiful GPG College which was made during British Era.) o Dal Lake and Nadi (Dal lake is 11 km from lower Dharamsala and lies in between hills and deodar trees. This is a starting point for trekking and excursion , which is covered around the lake to make the walk memorable) • Bhagsu Falls (The Bhagsu Falls are situated 2 km away from McLeodganj. Set amidst lush greenery and nature in its most pristine form, these falls are majestic and grand and should not be missed by all tourists travelling here.) •• Overnight stay in hotel at Dharamshala.
Day 6: DHARAMSHALA – DALHOUSIE - Khajjiar
After Breakfast , Checkout from hotel transfer to Dalhousie Checkin to hotel • Sightseeing at: • St. John's Church : Built in 1863, this British-style Protestant church features glass paintings of Saints John & Peter. • Panchpula- Tranquil parkland featuring a small waterfall & a monument to revered patriot Ajit Singh • Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays but this species can be spotted here. • Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
