Chamunda Devi Temple is a prominent religious sanctuary located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Set against the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhar mountains, the temple stands on the banks of the Baner River, offering scenic views which complement its spiritual ambiance. Dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, a form of Shakti, the temple is considered to be more than 700 years old and holds significant religious importance. It is also known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham. The architecture embodies the typical hill style with a wooden roof and stone walls, enveloped by lush vegetation. Inside the temple complex, visitors can see the main deity along with the statues of Lord Bhairav and Lord Hanuman. The complex also houses a pond, a Sanskrit library, and a place for conducting ritualistic sacrifices.
