Day 2: Day trip to Sonmarg

After breakfast full day Excursion to Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as 'The Meadow of Gold' or "The Gateway of Ladakh' Sonamarg is 84 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colourful mountains and thick Pine forests. Thajwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. Day 3: Day trip to Doodhpathri

Doodhpathri is a small hill station in Kashmir region. It is located at an altitude of 8,957 ft, and at a distance of about 45 kilometers from Srinagar. It is one of those areas that have not yet become too popular among tourists and probably never get crowded. The name Doodhpathri literally translates to â€œValley of Milkâ€ and there is in fact an interesting tale about how this place got named as such. It is said that a famous Kashmiri saint, Sheikh Noor din Noorani, used to pray here. Once he was looking for some water in the meadows to prepare for his prayers; and while doing so, pricked the ground with his stick. The moment he did that, milk came bursting out of the ground. Sheikh Noorani however refused to use milk to wash his hands and face for prayers, saying that milk can and should be used only for drinking. Upon his refusal, milk at once changed its state to water and hence the meadows here got names as Doodhpathri.
