Kumbhalgarh is a Mewar fortress located on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, India. It is a World Heritage site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Built during the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, it is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. The fort's massive defensive walls stretch for over 36 kilometers, making it the second longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Visitors are awestruck by its strategic position and imposing structure, which includes seven fortified gateways, numerous palaces, temples, and gardens.
