Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, India, encircling the Kumbhalgarh fortress, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of approximately 578 square kilometers (about 222 square miles), the sanctuary encompasses parts of the Aravalli Range and is home to a diverse array of wildlife. It was established in 1971 to protect the endangered species in the area. The sanctuary's rugged terrain features hills and valleys, as well as several water bodies that support the wildlife. You'll find an array of species such as leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, jungle cats, and various species of deer including chinkara, sambhar, and nilgai. The avian population is also noteworthy, with birdwatchers spotting many kinds of bird species, including the peacock and grey jungle fowl. The sanctuary's flora is characterized by tropical dry deciduous forest with trees such as teak, sheesham, and khair. Visitors can also indulge in activities like horse safari, jeep safari, and trekking around the ancient ruins.

It was Decent
Couldn’t sight any animals but it was great driving experience until Kumbhalgarh - But we come to know that night jungle safari have the potential of Animal sights as well.

Timings are from 6-9am early morning & 4-5pm in evening. Jeeps can be Booked their itself and go in a group of six. You'll find hyena, chetah, bear, dear etc
