Badal Mahal, also known as the Palace of Clouds, is perched at the peak of the Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan, India. Positioned at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding Aravalli Range. The palace is renowned for its magnificent architecture, which is a mix of Mughal and Rajput styles. It is divided into two interconnected segments - the Zanana Mahal for the royal ladies and the Mardana Mahal for the royal men. Badal Mahal is adorned with beautiful wall paintings and features turquoise, white, and green color schemes symbolizing the clouds. The Fort of Kumbhalgarh has a significant place in history as the birthplace of legendary warrior Maharana Pratap. The Fort's wall is the second longest continuous wall globally, often called 'The Great Wall of India.' Visitors are drawn to the fort and the palace for their impressive historical significance, breathtaking views, and the rich cultural heritage they represent.
