The various apple species from Quba are celebrated for their taste and quality, drawing visitors from across Azerbaijan and beyond who wish to experience the local flavors and partake in the harvest.

Development of Tourism

While Quba has always been a destination for those seeking natural beauty and cultural experiences, it wasn’t until the late 20th and early 21st centuries that tourism really began to develop. Investments in infrastructure, such as improved roads and hotel facilities, helped to make the region more accessible to international and domestic travelers.

The apple gardens offer a peaceful retreat and an authentic glimpse into the agricultural lifestyle of the region.

Farm stays have become increasingly popular, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in rural life. Many orchard owners offer guided tours, which include historical insights and anecdotes that enrich the visitor experience.
