By Air:

Eilat Ramon Airport (ETM) is the nearest airport located about 21 kilometers from the Aqaba Bird Observatory. It has flights connecting from major cities. From the airport, you can take a taxi or a shared shuttle service directly to the observatory.

By Road:

Driving to the observatory is quite straightforward:

  • From central Eilat, head north-east on Route 90.
  • Take a turn onto Shalom Road.
  • Then, turn left onto the road leading to the International Birding & Research Center.
  • Look out for the signs pointing towards the Aqaba Bird Observatory.

Bus services are available as well. Public buses operated by Egged (line 15, 16), can drop you near the observatory, but there may be a short walk involved.
