Best Time To Visit Biju Patnaik Park (Berhampur) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Biju Patnaik Park, Berhampur, Odisha, India

When planning a visit to Biju Patnaik Park in Berhampur, an integral consideration is the seasonal climate of Odisha, India. The ideal time to visit this tranquil park is during the cooler months, which span from October to February. During these months, the weather remains pleasant with moderate temperatures, which range from approximately 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F), making it conducive for outdoor activities, relaxing walks, and enjoying the park's lush greenery. The monsoon season, which typically lasts from June to September, is often avoided by tourists due to heavy rainfall that can lead to waterlogging and limit the outdoor experience.

Moreover, visiting the park during festivals like Makar Sankranti in January or Raja Parba in June can add cultural vibrance to the experience with special arrangements and local celebrations. Despite Raja Parba falling in the monsoon season, it can offer a unique glimpse into the region's traditions if you're comfortable with the rainy weather. Additionally, the park is a popular spot for morning and evening walkers, so for a quieter visit, consider going during the weekdays as weekends tend to attract more families and groups, making it more crowded.
