Bomdila Monastery Tourism

Bomdila Monastery is a prominent Buddhist monastery located in the town of Bomdila in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Also known as Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery, it was established in the year 1965 by the 12th reincarnate of Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. Built on a hilltop, the monastery offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape and the township below. It has a unique architectural design that reflects the influence of Tibetan Buddhism.
