The best time to visit the Brief Garden by Bevis Bawa in Bentota is arguably during the dry season which spans from December through April. During these months, the weather is predominantly sunny and dry, providing visitors with the perfect conditions to explore the intricate beauty of the landscape. Bentota experiences the least rainfall and the lowest humidity levels in this period, making outdoor activities more enjoyable. The gardens are in full bloom with a myriad of tropical flowers and lush greenery, offering a spectacular view. Visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is also recommended to avoid the heat of midday, ensuring a comfortable stroll through the exquisitely landscaped grounds.

Moreover, visiting during the peak tourist season means that you'll find the destination bustling with activity and the surroundings more vibrant. Despite being the busiest time of the year for tourism in Sri Lanka, the Brief Garden is a secluded haven, still offering visitors a serene escape from the crowds. It's important to note that it's best to check opening hours in advance, as they can vary, and the garden is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
