Bunaken Marine Park Tourism

Bunaken Marine Park, also known as Bunaken National Marine Park, boasts one of Indonesia's richest marine environments. Located at the northern tip of Sulawesi near the city of Manado, the park covers an area of approximately 890 square kilometers with five islands: Bunaken, Manado Tua, Siladen, Montehage, and Nain. It is celebrated for its marine biodiversity, spectacular walls, and coral reefs that are a magnet for diving enthusiasts. The park's waters are inhabited by about 70 different species of corals and are a habitat for hundreds of species of fish, mollusks, reptiles, and marine mammals. The crystal-clear waters offer excellent visibility for underwater photography and exploration, often ranging between 20 to 35 meters. The steep coral walls plunge down as much as 1,566 meters, creating dramatic backdrops for divers. The park is under conservation efforts to preserve its delicate ecosystems and extraordinary marine life. It offers a unique underwater experience, combining incredibly rich biodiversity with stunningly clear water and impressive wall dives.
