The Catacombs of San Gennaro, an incredible historical treasure located beneath the city of Naples, can be accessed through various means depending on where you are coming from.

Arriving by Air

If you are flying into Naples, you will arrive at Naples International Airport (Aeroporto di Napoli-Capodichino). From there, you have multiple options:

• Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport. The ride to the Catacombs takes approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic.
• Bus: The ANM Alibus service runs from the airport to the central train station and the port. From either of these locations, you can switch to the metro system.

Arriving by Train

If you are arriving by train, you will most likely disembark at Napoli Centrale, the main train station. From Napoli Centrale, you can:

• Take the Metro Line 2 to Cavour Station. From there, it is a 20-minute walk to the Catacombs.
