After arriving at Aberdeen International Airport, you can take a taxi or public transport to the city center. Buses such as the Jet Service 727 can drop you at Union Square Bus Station, which is a good starting point to get to the garden.
Aberdeen is well-connected by train. Upon arriving at Aberdeen Train Station, situated at Union Square, you can take a bus or a taxi to the garden which is about a 10 to 15-minute drive away.
Several local bus routes such as numbers 20, 1, 2, and 13 stop close to the campus. You’d want to disembark at a stop on Elphinstone Road or The Chanory, which are both short walks away from the garden.
If you're driving, the garden is reachable using postcode AB24 3UU for your GPS. Parking may be available on nearby streets or on campus, but be aware of parking restrictions during term time.
From the city center, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to the garden, taking approximately 30 minutes. Walk north towards the Old Aberdeen part of the city, following the signs for the University of Aberdeen.
Aberdeen has active cycle paths. You can cycle to the garden and will find bike racks for parking outside the garden.
The gardens are usually open daily from dawn till dusk, and entry is free to all visitors.
