Duduma Waterfall, situated in the Malkangiri district near Jeypore in Odisha, India, is a stunning cascade of water plummeting from a height of about 157 meters. It is one of the highest waterfalls in India and is formed by the Machkund River. The local tribes like the Bonda and Gadaba consider this place sacred due to its association with their traditional customs. The area around Duduma Waterfall is lush with a varied spectrum of flora and fauna which contributes to its breathtaking beauty and makes it an excellent spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. The falls serve as a major source of hydroelectric power to the region due to the Machkund Hydro Electric Power Project.
