The ideal season to visit Farahabad Viewpoint in Mahbubnagar is during the post-monsoon and winter months, from October to February. During this period, the weather is favorable with cooler temperatures and a clear sky, providing visitors with a pleasant experience. Post-monsoon, the surrounding vegetation is lush and green, enhancing the natural beauty of the viewpoint. The temperature during these months ranges between 15°C and 30°C, which is comfortable for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The clear weather also ensures an unobstructed view of the beautiful landscape below, including the Krishna River and the Nallamala forest range.

Avoid visiting during the summer season, which lasts from March to May, as temperatures can soar up to 40°C, making it extremely uncomfortable to venture out, especially during the afternoon time. The monsoon season, from June to September, while offering the sight of a refreshingly green landscape, can be challenging due to heavy rainfall and potential accessibility issues caused by wet and slippery roads. For wildlife enthusiasts, the winter season is particularly rewarding as it offers the best chance to spot wildlife in the neighboring sanctuary.
