Fort Siloso is not traditionally known for its food history but for its historical significance as Singapore's only preserved coastal fort. Built in the 1880s by the British, it was part of the country's coastal defense against sea invasion. Today, it's a military museum with an array of exhibits and memorabilia from World War II. Over time, however, Sentosa Island has developed into a gastronomic destination, offering a diverse selection of dining options that capture Singapore's multi-ethnic influences, including cuisines such as Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Eurasian fare.
While Fort Siloso itself doesn't have its own unique dishes, tourists can enjoy a wide range of Singapore's culinary offerings elsewhere on Sentosa Island, close to the fort.
