Fubo Hill, located in the northeast of Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is a solitary peak rising alongside the Li River. Known locally as 'Wave-Subduing Hill', it is a picturesque site combining natural beauty and historic art. The hill is renowned for its unique shape, resembling a wave that stands still amidst the flow of the Li River. It is 213 meters above sea level with half of its mass standing on land and the other stretching into the river. For centuries, Fubo Hill has attracted visitors with its tranquil environment, verdant surroundings, and the intricate carvings and stone Buddhas, some of which date back to the Tang Dynasty. The summit offers a panoramic view of Guilin's magnificent landscape. It is a token of the city's innate harmony between culture and nature, providing a profound insight into China's rich history and geological significance.
