Yangshuo is a small county located in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, renowned for its dramatically karst mountain landscape and outdoor recreation. The Li River winds through the county and is famous for river cruises between Guilin and Yangshuo, offering panoramic views of peaks and rural scenes, including fishermen with cormorants and water buffalo grazing along its banks. West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo and a hub of cultural exchange as well as a shopping paradise for tourists, with its vast array of shops selling traditional Chinese handicrafts, souvenirs, and food. Yangshuo is also a popular destination for rock climbing, with over 300 climbing routes set amongst its limestone peaks. Additionally, it serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside via biking, hiking, and rafting. The region's beauty has been immortalized by poets and painters for centuries and continues to attract travelers with its serene atmosphere and picturesque landscapes. Yangshuo's cultural heritage is also rich and includes traditional dragon dance, folk music, and rustic cuisine.
