Fujairah Museum Tourism

Fujairah Museum is a cultural and historical hub nestled in the heart of Fujairah city, one of the seven emirates that form the United Arab Emirates. This museum vividly portrays the rich ancestral heritage and artistry of the region. Established in 1991, it has become a vault of precious artifacts, with displays encompassing a range of items from different epochs. These include pre-Islamic ceramics, bronze and silver coins, aged weapons, and traditional Emirati crafts. The museum also boasts an extensive collection of artifacts unearthed during archaeological digs in the area, some dating back to 2500 BC. Visitors can explore three main halls which house the heritage, ancient history, and archaeology sections. The heritage section displays the traditional lifestyle of Fujairah's inhabitants, while the ancient history hall narrates the story of human settlement in the region from the Stone Age. The archaeology section showcases the discoveries from nearby sites like Bithnah and Qidfa. Its unique exhibits and educational storylines draw both historians and tourists alike.
