Fukuoka Tower is a seaside tower located in the city of Fukuoka, Japan. At a stunning height of 234 meters, it is the tallest seaside tower in Japan and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and Hakata Bay. The tower was designed by the renowned Japanese architect Nikken Sekkei and was completed in 1989. The tower's design is meant to withstand earthquakes and features a triangular cross-section which is covered in 8,000 half-mirrors, giving it a distinctive and glittering appearance. The observation deck is situated at a height of 123 meters and provides visitors with a bird's-eye view of the urban landscape and coast. It is particularly beautiful during the evening when the city lights begin to sparkle. The tower is also known for various illumination patterns on its facade, marking different seasons and festivals.
