The Great Mosque of Central Java is a prominent landmark in Semarang and can be reached by various means of transport. Below are some recommended transportation options:

By Air

If you are coming from outside Java, the closest airport is Ahmad Yani International Airport (SRG) in Semarang. Upon arriving at the airport, you can take a taxi or an app-based ride service directly to the mosque. The journey usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Train

Semarang has two main train stations – Semarang Poncol Station and Semarang Tawang Station. From both stations, the mosque is easily accessible by taxi or ride-sharing services, with the ride taking approximately 20 minutes.

By Bus

Intracity buses are available to take you close to the mosque. The main bus terminal in Semarang is Terminal Terboyo. From here, you can catch a local bus to the mosque.

By Car

If you are driving by car, the mosque is situated on Jl. Gajah Raya, which is well-connected by the city’s main roads. There is a parking available at the mosque complex.
