Best Time To Visit Hajra Waterfall (Raipur) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Hajra Waterfall in Chhattisgarh

The ideal period to plan a visit to the Hajra Waterfall, located near Raipur in Chhattisgarh, is during the post-monsoon months that extend from October to December. During this phase, the water levels are high and the flow is robust, making the waterfalls a spectacular sight to behold. The lush greenery surrounding the falls is also at its peak after being nourished by the monsoon rains, which greatly enhances the scenic beauty of the area. Temperatures during these months are relatively cooler and pleasant, providing a comfortable environment for travellers to explore and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Visiting the waterfall in the monsoon months (July to September) can be challenging due to heavy rainfall, which may result in slippery paths and increased risk of flash floods, making it less safe for tourists. Conversely, the summer months (April to June) see a significantly reduced water flow, and the scorching heat can make the journey quite exhaustive. Therefore, scheduling your visit during the post-monsoon season ensures you get to experience Hajra Waterfall at its most magnificent, with the added advantage of a safer and more comfortable trip. Remember to always check local weather conditions and advisories before planning your visit to ensure optimal safety.
