The Indian Heritage Centre (IHC) is a cultural center and museum located in the heart of Little India, Singapore. It is a four-story building established to celebrate the contributions and culture of the Indian community in Singapore. Opened in May 2015, the building's architecture is inspired by the Indian Baoli (stepwells) and also features a deep-rooted historical and cultural significance. The facade of the building is made of glass panels that subtly reflect the changing scenes of Little India. Inside, the IHC offers a plethora of exhibitions that range from permanent to temporary showcases. The galleries within the center depict the history of Indian immigrants and their experiences in Singapore, displaying artifacts, photographs, and interactive exhibits that capture the vibrant spirit of the Indian community. The center not only serves as a museum but is also a platform for cultural activities, workshops, and performances that promote the Indian arts, culture, and heritage.
