Best Time To Visit Interview Island (Mayabunder) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Interview Island, Mayabunder

The most optimal time to visit Interview Island in Mayabunder, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is between the months of November and April. This period is marked by the post-monsoon season and the onset of the winter, which brings in a relatively cool and pleasant climate ideal for exploration and outdoor activities. The monsoon season, which spans from May to September, is usually avoided by tourists due to heavy rainfall, strong winds, and rough sea conditions that could hinder travel to the island and the enjoyment of its natural beauty.

During the best travel window from November to April, visitors will experience low humidity and clear skies, making it perfect not only for beach activities but also for wildlife enthusiasts interested in exploring the dense tropical forests of Interview Island. Furthermore, the sea remains calm during this period, facilitating easier boat rides for the transfer between Mayabunder and Interview Island. Wildlife spotting, especially the famous feral elephants of the island, is best done during this time as animals are more likely to be seen around water bodies due to the drier conditions.
