Accessing Isuien Garden

The closest railway station to Isuien Garden is Kintetsu Nara Station. After arriving at the station:

• Exit the station and take a left.
• Walk north for approximately 15 minutes along the main road.
• Follow the signs directing you to Todai-ji Temple.
• Isuien Garden is located to the west of Todai-ji Temple.

If you are taking the JR Nara Line:

• Disembark at JR Nara Station.
• From there, it's about a 30-minute walk to the garden.
• Alternatively, you can take a bus or taxi from JR Nara Station.
• The bus ride takes about 10 minutes, and you should alight at the "Himuro Shrine / Science Museum" bus stop.

Several local buses can take you close to Isuien Garden:

• Board a bus that stops at "Kencho-mae" from either Kintetsu or JR Nara Station.
• Transfer to a bus that goes to Himuro Shrine / Science Museum.

If you’re driving, Isuien Garden has a small parking lot available for visitors.
