According to legend, Kapal Mochan is the very place where the Pandava brother, Bhima, is believed to have taken a bath and was relieved of the sin of killing his kinsmen during the war of Kurukshetra. The site has a holy tank known as Kapal Mochan Sarovar, where devotees take a holy dip, especially during the Karthik Purnima festival. Numerous temples and ashrams dot the landscape, giving the place a serene and tranquil ambiance. It is also known for its historical Gurudwara related to Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh, making it a worship place for Sikhs as well.
