Kapal Mochan is a revered pilgrimage site located in the Yamunanagar district of Haryana, India. It is a place of immense religious significance, attracting pilgrims from all over the country. The destination is steeped in mythology and is associated with several legends from Hindu epics, including the Mahabharata. According to legend, Kapal Mochan is the very place where the Pandava brother, Bhima, is believed to have taken a bath and was relieved of the sin of killing his kinsmen during the war of Kurukshetra. The site has a holy tank known as Kapal Mochan Sarovar, where devotees take a holy dip, especially during the Karthik Purnima festival. Numerous temples and ashrams dot the landscape, giving the place a serene and tranquil ambiance. It is also known for its historical Gurudwara related to Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh, making it a worship place for Sikhs as well.
