Karnal Fort (Old Fort) Tourism

The Karnal Fort, also known as the Old Fort, is located in Karnal, the city historically significant for being the battleground of Panipat. The fort traces its history back to the Mughal period and has seen various rulers, making it an embodiment of India's rich past. Over the years, the fort has experienced the transition of power among Mughals, British, and Sikhs. Now mostly in ruins, the historic edifice still stands as a testament to its bygone era, showcasing architectural features from its time. It’s a place for history aficionados to connect with India's historical narratives. A major attraction is the tower within the premises known as the 'Miran Sahib Ki Minari’.
