Getting to Kashmir Point

Kashire Point is one of the most scenic spots in Murree, which is a mountain resort town located in the Punjab province of Pakistan.

Traveling by Road

Reaching Kashmir Point by road is the most common way visitors travel. Murree is well-connected with major cities in Pakistan such as Islamabad and Rawalpindi. From Islamabad, it is approximately a 50-kilometer drive which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

1. Start from Islamabad or Rawalpindi and head towards Murree via the Murree Expressway (E-75).
2. Continue on the expressway until you reach Murree city.
3. Once in Murree, follow the signboards to Kashmir Point, or use a local map or GPS for guidance.

Traveling by Bus

Regular bus and van services are available from Islamabad and Rawalpindi to Murree. After reaching the Murree Bus Terminal, you can take a local taxi or hike to Kashmir Point.

Parking Information

Parking can be limited during peak tourist seasons, so it is advisable to arrive early to secure a spot.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Kashmir Point is from March to October when the weather is pleasant. Winters can be very cold with snowfall, making travel difficult.
