The Kolanupaka Jain Temple, situated in the Kolanupaka village of the Nalgonda district in Telangana, India, is a significant place of worship for the Jain community. The temple, with its rich architectural beauty and a history dating back over 2,000 years, is a splendid example of Jain influences in this region. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rishabhanatha, the first Tirthankara of Jainism, and also houses statues of the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha, and the 24th Tirthankara, Mahavira, beautifying its serene sanctum. Intricately carved marble and the use of precious stones highlight the craftsmanship of the period. Kolanupaka flourished as a Jain center during the Rashtrakuta period, and the temple was renovated in the 20th century, maintaining the original elegance. The site is a confluence of history, spirituality, and art, attracting visitors for both pilgrimage and appreciation of its heritage.
