The Krasnoyarsk Hydro Power Station, located on the Yenisei River in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, is one of the country's largest power-producing facilities. Inaugurated in 1967, this iconic hydroelectric station is recognized by its enormous dam, measuring 124 meters high and 1,065 meters long, and is a significant contributor to the Siberian power grid. The dam creates the Krasnoyarsk Reservoir, which, at around 2,000 square kilometers, serves as a large water reserve and is used for downstream regulation. The power station is equipped with twelve hydro turbines, each turbine is capable of producing 500 MW, totaling a capacity of 6,000 MW.
