Krasnoyarsk experiences a continental climate with significant differences between seasons. The ideal time to visit the Hydro Power Station is during the late spring and early summer months, typically from May to June. During this period, the weather is pleasantly warm with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C, and the days are long, providing ample daylight for exploring the station and its surroundings. Furthermore, the ice from the Yenisei River will have melted, allowing visitors to see the station in full operation, with water flowing through its turbines.

Another suitable time for visiting the Krasnoyarsk Hydro Power Station is during the early autumn, in September. Although the temperatures start to cool down, ranging from 10°C to 15°C, the autumnal hues make the scenery around the power station particularly beautiful. The visitor load is also lighter, meaning you could enjoy a more tranquil tour with fewer tourists around.
