This is really a overhype place. The only reason we visited is that it is enroute from Dawki to Shillong with small detour. They charge Rs.100 as maintenance fee per car for a small area. Food there i..

They claim it is cleanest village of Asia. It is a lie. You can find much cleaner place in Sikkim. It is a blatant lie and they suck your wallet. Rs 200 just to enter the village. Believe me, nothing ..

Visitor unfriendly Village, fairly clean
Walk around, expect no communication from villagers ...and the visitors toilet has no water... Obviously not interested in anything but in selling to tourists.

Not worth the visit unless you've enough time to kill...... It's just like a commercial community row houses and nothing great.... paying to get access to the village is definitely not worth. Highly ..
