For those who prefer to avoid heavy showers, the pre-monsoon months of March to May can also be an appropriate time to visit. During these months, Mawsynram offers a pleasant climate with moderate rainfall, which is much less than during the monsoon season. Days are generally warm while evenings can be cooler, which is perfect for exploring the village and nearby areas. However, ensure to carry adequate rain gear even during these months as brief showers are common.
