The Momine Khatun Mausoleum is an exquisite historical monument located in Nakhchivan, an exclave of Azerbaijan. It stands as a remarkable example of the architectural ingenuity prevalent during the 12th-century Seljuk period. The mausoleum was built in honor of Momine Khatun, the wife of the Atabeg of Azerbaijan - Jahan Pahlawan, who was an influential leader and political figure of that era. This cylindrical structure, capped with a conical dome, rises to a majestic height of more than 25 meters, illuminated by the intricate geometric and floral patterns that adorn its exterior. The monument is decorated with Kufic script and is considered one of the most significant architectural monuments in Azerbaijani history for its grandeur and the artistry involved in its construction. The mausoleum is crafted from red brick which contrasts vividly against the blue of the sky, standing out within the surroundings of the city. It symbolizes a fusion of Islamic architecture with local design elements, portraying an artistic heritage that has survived through ages. It is part of the historical and architectural complex of the Nizami mausoleum
