The surroundings are rejuvenated with the post-monsoon greenery making it a great time for photography and nature studies. During this post-monsoon season, temperatures generally stay within a comfortable range of 6°C to 14°C. However, visitors should be mindful that winters, starting in late November, can be extremely harsh in Dirang with temperatures dropping below freezing, which may not be ideal for everyone.
