If you are arriving by air, the nearest airport is Stuttgart Airport (STR). From there, you have several options:

• Car Rental: Renting a car from the airport is another option if you prefer to drive yourself.

By Train:

Stuttgart is well connected by train from various cities across Germany and Europe. The central railway station is Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. Upon arriving:

• Exit the station and head towards the Königstraße, a popular pedestrian shopping street heading directly towards Schlossplatz.
• The palace is a mere 10-15 minutes walk from the station.

By Car:

If you are traveling by car, there are several parking options available around the city center, but please be aware that the area around Schlossplatz is often busy.

• It is recommended to use city parking garages and then walk or take public transportation to the Schlossplatz.

By Public Transport:

The public transportation network in Stuttgart is very efficient with buses and the underground U-Bahn system.

• Take any of the U-Bahn routes (U5, U6, U7, U12, or U15) and alight at the Schlossplatz station.

Once you have reached Schlossplatz, you will easily find the Neues Schloss, as it is one of the central landmarks of the city. The palace is not only aesthetically pleasing but also houses the ministries of the state government of Baden-Württemberg.

Note:

While the Neues Schloss is primarily a government building with limited access to the public, its architecture can be appreciated from the outside, and it is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are open for visitors to explore.
