Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is a 500-acre botanical garden and tourist attraction in Chonburi Province, Thailand. Situated approximately 2.4 kilometers from the Pattaya city, it is a renowned for its beautifully landscaped gardens, traditional Thai cultural shows, and elephant performances. The garden was founded by Pisit and Nongnooch Tansacha in 1954, with the idea of developing it into a fruit plantation, but it was later turned into a wildlife conservation project, and subsequently opened to visitors. The vast gardens are a spectacular display of flora, themed gardens, and the impressive variety of palms, cycads, and orchids. Some popular sections include the French Garden, European Garden, Stonehenge Garden, and a replica of Versailles. It also features a zoo and a number of exhibits, including car collections and religious statues. Nong Nooch Village is more than a garden, it's a cultural experience with traditional Thai houses, dance performances, and martial arts demonstrations.
