Best Time To Visit Novosibirsk Zoo (Novosibirsk) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Novosibirsk Zoo

The Novosibirsk Zoo is a year-round attraction, but the optimal time to visit is during the late spring through early fall, roughly between May and September. During this period, the weather in Novosibirsk is generally mild and pleasant, ideal for walking around the large zoo premises. The temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F), providing comfortable conditions for both visitors and animals. In late spring, you might witness the blooming flora that enhances the zoo's beauty, while summer provides the longest days for a full-day visit without the rush.

Visiting in the late summer or early fall is particularly advantageous as you avoid the larger crowds that often come with the summer holidays, still relishing the warm weather and active animals. Furthermore, many young animals are born in the spring and are more visible and playful as they grow in late summer. Remember to consider the local holidays and weekends when planning your visit, as these times may bring an increase in domestic visitors. No matter the time of your visit, the Novosibirsk Zoo's diverse collection of species and lovely setting make for an educational and enjoyable outing.
