Best Time To Visit Oriental Pearl Tower (Shanghai) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai, China

The Oriental Pearl Tower, an iconic landmark in Shanghai, is a must-see attraction for many visitors to the city. To make the most of your visit, the ideal time to go is during the spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November). These periods offer the most pleasant weather conditions – mild temperatures, less rainfall, and clearer skies – which are perfect for enjoying the spectacular views from the tower's observation decks.

Moreover, visiting during the weekdays, particularly in the morning or late afternoon, can help avoid the crowds that tend to gather on weekends and during public holidays. It's also wise to check the local weather forecast in advance, as smog and pollution can sometimes obscure the view. Clear days provide an unrivaled opportunity to see across the Huangpu River and the expansive Shanghai skyline, making your experience at the Oriental Pearl Tower truly unforgettable.
