Best Time To Visit Peda Ting Ting Island (Rangamati) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Peda Ting Ting Island, Rangamati, Bangladesh

The optimal time to visit Peda Ting Ting Island in Rangamati is during the winter season, which spans from November to February. During this period, the weather is cooler and more comfortable with temperatures ranging from about 15°C to 25°C. This is a stark contrast to the sweltering heat found during the summer months. The winter season also boasts a low humidity level, providing a pleasant environment for exploring the natural beauty and cultural sights on the island. Additionally, these months see less rainfall, ensuring that your travel plans are less likely to be hindered by monsoonal showers that can occur during other times of the year.

The dry winter months also facilitate smoother travel across the Kaptai Lake as the water levels are more stable and the lake is calmer. This is especially important when considering boat trips to Peda Ting Ting Island, as they are the primary means of reaching this beautiful destination. Moreover, this period coincides with the peak tourist season, offering a lively atmosphere and a chance to experience local festivals like Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year) if you're visiting in early April. However, it is advisable to plan your trip early and book accommodations in advance as this season sees increased visitor numbers, which may lead to limited availability in resorts and guesthouses on the island.
