Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon, also known as 'The Great Buddha's Relics' or 'The Nine Story Stupa,' is a magnificent temple complex located in Khon Kaen, in the heart of the Issan region of Thailand. This iconic structure, within the complex of Wat Nong Wang, stands at an impressive 80 meters tall and houses diverse Buddha relics on its topmost floor. The stupa is embellished with intricate Buddhist artwork and storytelling murals, revealing tales of the Buddha's past lives, teachings, and Jataka stories.
